The Okotoks Oilers are pleased to announce their 2013 Cash Raffle, featuring a guaranteed prize of $14,000, or a maximum prize of $35,000 (depending on the number of tickets sold).  Tickets are available at all Oiler home games at the 50/50 table.  If you would like to order a ticket, and cannot make it to a game, please contact the Okotoks Oilers office at 995-2255.  Please note that all tickets purchased over the phone will be mailed out, and cannot be printed electronically as per AGLC Rules.

a) Raffle tickets may be sold only to persons 18 years of age or older.
b) If the buyer chooses to write down a different name on the ticket other than themselves, that person must be at least 18 years of age or older.
c) Any members of the Friends of the Okotoks Oilers Foundation or members of the Raffle executive are ineligible to buy tickets or benefit from prizing
d) There will be no extension of the draw date.
e) The draw for the prize will be made at the Okotoks Oilers Fundrasier on June 15, 2013 at the Pason Centennial Arena, #3, 204 Community Way, Okotoks, AB T1S 2N3
f) The draw will be conducted by the chairperson along with a member of the board of governors from the Friends of the Okotoks Oilers Foundation selecting a random person at the fundraiser to reach into the draw box and pull out one ticket.  Tickets will be sold at the Pason Centennial Arena during Okotoks Oilers games as well as the Okotoks Oilers Golf Tournament on August 20th at the Heritage Pointe Golf Course, #1 Heritage Pointe Drive, RR1 DeWinton, AB T0L 0X0 CANADA.
g) Each ticket has equal probability of winning the cash prize.
h) The cash prize must be claimed within 1 year of selection.  Should the winner fail to claim the prize within 1 year, the prize will default as a donation to the Friends of the Okotoks Oilers Foundation, upon approval from the Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission.
i) Upon confirmation and identification of the winner, the winner will be paid a lump sum, equal to $14,000 or  the value of 50% of the total tickets sold, which ever is greater.  The winner will be paid by cheque.  The winner will be required to claim the cheque in person with valid identification. 
j) Raffle outcome is not dependant upon any outcome of Okotoks Oilers games.
k) All tickets purchased are non-refundable.  Should a winner misplace their matching ticket stub, the prize may be claimed upon confirmation of identification with government issued identification only.  All prize winners must confirm their identity with a piece of government issued identification.  The prize draw will be recorded on video to confirm the legitimacy of the winner.
l) In the event a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the Friends of the Okotoks Oilers Foundation shall award the prize to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket, and that the Friends of the Okotoks Oilers Foundation and the AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.
