2013 OKOTOKS OILERS PRE-SEASON CLASSIC
The Okotoks Oilers of the AJHL are pleased to announce that they will be hosting the 2nd annual Pre-Season Classic from August 29th to 31st in Okotoks, AB. The 4-team tournament will feature a round-robin format over the 3-day event focused on promoting current and future AJHL talent from 4 elite AJHL programs. The 1st place team at the conclusion of the Round Robin will be declared tournament champion.
Joining the Okotoks Oilers will be the Brooks Bandits, Camrose Kodiaks and Fort McMurray Oil Barons. The Brooks Bandits are the defending AJHL & RBC Champions, the Oil Barons and Kodiaks have a combined 8 AJHL Championships while the Oilers have finished 1st or 2nd in the AJHL South Division for 7 consecutive seasons.

o Thursday August 29th

ï?§ Game #2 – 7:45pm = Fort McMurray vs. Okotoks
o Friday August 30th
ï?§ Game #1 – 1:45pm = Fort McMurray vs. Brooks
ï?§ Game #2 – 5:00pm = Camrose vs. Okotoks
o Saturday August 31st
ï?§ Game #1 – 4:30pm = Fort McMurray vs. Camrose
ï?§ Game #2 – 7:45pm = Brooks vs. Okotoks
Ticket admission will be $5/game, $8/ day pass, or $20/ weekend pass for adults, while games will be free for Oiler season ticket holders and all minors. Parents, Fans and Scouts wishing to find accommodations during the event are encouraged to contact the Lakeview Inn & Suites which is within walking distance from Okotoks Centennial Arena.
