OKOTOKS, AB (June 4, 2023) — The Okotoks Oilers of the Alberta Junior Hockey League are happy to introduce Brady Pupp as the team’s new Business Operations Lead.
An AJHL alumnus, Pupp joins the team after four years at Marian University in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, where he earned a degree in Sport and Recreation Management and Marketing. Prior to his NCAA hockey career, he played 156 games at the Junior A level in both the AJHL and Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
In his new role, Pupp will serve as the team’s lead on corporate partnerships, while also assisting with the day-to-day and game-day operations of the organization. He was selected after a multi-stage recruitment process that saw over 75 applicants express their interest in joining the Oilers.
“We’re looking forward to Brady joining our team and helping to build on the progress we’ve made over the last two years,” said Oilers Assistant General Manager, Business Operations Tyler King. “Brady stood out from the beginning of our process in his understanding of and enthusiasm for the industry, and brings a variety of sports and business experience that will serve him well.”
Pupp’s official first day is Monday, June 5th, after which he can be reached at brady.pupp@okotoksoilers.com
Details on new corporate partnership opportunities with the Oilers will be coming out soon, with the beginning of season ticket renewals and sales for the 2023-24 season to follow as well.
