Canalta Hotels Player of the Week – Tanner Laderoute

Forward Tanner Laderoute of the Okotoks Oilers is the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week.  In four games, Tanner scored 4 goals and 5 assists for the Oilers to extend his active point streak to 10 games.

The Okotoks Oilers opened their week on Tuesday, January 23rd with an 8-4 win over the Canmore Eagles, and Laderoute picked up his first assist of the week.  In a three-game road trip through the North Division over the weekend, the team would earn wins in Grande Prairie (4-0), Whitecourt (3-1), and Sherwood Park (8-5).  Tanner recorded 3 assists versus Grande Prairie, 1 assist in Whitecourt, and closed the week with a 4-goal game in Sherwood Park.  Laderoute earned the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game award for his performance against the Crusaders.

Tanner Laderoute (Edmonton, AB) has accumulated 18 points in his last ten games, a point streak that began back on January 6th.    The 4th year veteran of the AJHL leads the Oilers with 25 goals, 30 assists and 55 points, and is 6th overall in the AJHL Scoring Race.

The Oilers are currently first place in the Viterra AJHL South Division, 2nd in the CJHL Top 20 Weekly Rankings, and have built a 12-game win streak heading into February.
