As a non-profit organization, the Oilers rely on the support of volunteers and local businesses to survive each year. We also recognize the value of giving back to the community. Throughout the year, the Oilers can be found reading at schools in Okotoks, teaching hockey clinics, attending DARE graduations, helping out at the food bank, and operating our annual cancer fundraiser. We also donate thousands of dollars worth of tickets and merchandise throughout the year to local groups to help with fundraising.
