OKOTOKS, AB (April 15, 2023) — Okotoks Oilers Business Operations Coordinator Kyle Moore will be departing the organization for an exciting new career opportunity at the end of the month, the team announced today.
Joining the team ahead of the 2021-22 season, Moore helped to drive incredible progress in the Oilers’ off-ice success in just two years, most recently accomplishing a new franchise record for corporate sponsorship in a single year, one of its most successful-ever golf tournaments, as well as an historic team-high in regular season ticket sales, all while vastly expanding the team’s volunteer base and helping to streamline game day operations.
“We were privileged to have Kyle on our team for these last two seasons, and our entire staff couldn’t be happier for him and the new opportunity he’s earned for himself,” said Tyler King, assistant general manager, business operations. “His presence will be missed by our fans, volunteers, staff, and players alike, but he’s left an indelible mark on this organization and made permanent improvements in our business operations that will benefit the team for years to come.”
“With the challenges of government restrictions that we battled through last season, we couldn’t be in as strong a situation as we are right now without Kyle’s tireless efforts and true passion for our brand.”
The Oilers organization would like to thank Kyle for his tremendous efforts over the last two years and wish him the absolute best in his new position.
An open recruitment process will begin tomorrow to seek the next member of the Oilers’ business team, with details to be shared on the team website.
