The Okotoks Oilers are pleased to announce the contract extension of GM/Head Coach James Poole for an additional 2 years through the 2014/2015 season, with an option for continuance through season 2015/2016.
Over the past three season, James has administered the Oilers program on and off the ice into one of the most respected and successful programs in the Alberta Junior Hockey League, and the Canadian Junior Hockey League. His dedication to developing players academically and athletically is the foundation of his success.
Okotoks Oilers, President, Wayne Lauinger stated, “We are very pleased to have been able to secure James to continue as our GM/Head Coach for future. This contract commitment maintains continuity, allowing us to enhance our program with benefits to the community and player development.”
