OKOTOKS OILERS COMPLETE DECEMBER TRADE AND ACQUIRE 20 YEAR OLD DEFENCEMEN

The Okotoks Oilers Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club wish to announce the completion of the Jordan Xavier/Cooper Page December trade.  On June 1st, the remaining future considerations were named and Oilers Nolan Thompson and Ayden Roche-Setogutchi become property of the Calgary Mustangs in return the Oilers acquired 20-yr old defensemen Kylor Wall. 

Kylor joins us as a 3-year veteran of the AJHL who has played a total of 161 league games and an additional 2 playoff games for the Mustangs and sported the ‘C’ for the second half of the 2016-17 season.  This 6’ 3” and 215 lbs defensemen, an Edmonton, AB resident, will join the Oilers roster for the 2017-18 season. 

Head Coach Tyler Deis says, “We are excited to have the addition of Wall’s experience and leadership as part of our dressing room for the upcoming season.  The Okotoks Oilers Organization would like to thank both Nolan and Ayden, along with their families, for their contributions during their time as an Oiler.”
