After an exciting weekend and the boys firing on all cylinders, your Okotoks Oilers were able to chalked up two more away wins.
Friday night in Olds, it was 18 year old forward Jack Works with the overtime winner for a 4 to 3 win. On Saturday night, it was a convincing 7 to 2 win over the Camrose Kodiaks with 16 year old Brett Moravec scoring twice.
Oilers goalie Ashton Abel got the 2 wins and now has a remarkable 1.58 gaa for the year and a 15-0-1 record with 3 shutouts this year.
The Oilers picked up 2 points on the South division leaders Brooks Bandits this weekend when the Bandits lost their first game this season to the Spruce Grove Saints on Saturday night.
