This past weekend the Okotoks Oilers played their sixth and final regular season game against the Brooks Bandits. The Oilers walked into enemy turf and stole a big two points, winning 1-0 with the lone goal coming in the second period from Connor Hartley. D'Amico faced 36 shots in his third shutout of the season. Between D'Amico and Keelan Williams, the Okotoks Oilers have shut out their opponents for the last 195 minutes they've been on the ice.
This win puts the season series between these two teams at 5-1 for the Okotoks Oilers over the defending RBC Cup Champion Brooks Bandits.
Be sure to join us this Friday night (Valentine's Day) as we are back on home ice to host the Canmore Eagles who are looking to make a playoff run of their own this season. They are currently sitting in fourth place in the South only four points behind the Oilers. Since it is indeed Valentine's Day, we will have a special gift for the first 100 women in attendance on Friday. See you there!
